MOUNTAIN BIKING

This is my FAVORITE mountain bike. Before I changed all the parts it was a 1998 TREK Y3. It has shocks in the front and the back and believe me I DO USE THEM!

When I bought this awesome bike it was the last of its kind on the east coast of the country. So I was VERY LUCKY. Also I bought it very late at night when it was very dark in a neighborhood with a very high crime rate. I was lucky I got out alive.

I like to play with my bike and take it apart and put it back together. Here is a picture of just the frame. I had to take the bike apart so I can lubricate some parts deep within. I thought that it was pretty cool but my mom did not like even though it is my bike.
Some of the cool stuff I did to the bike is shown here. You can not see the picture very well but there is a hydrolic disk brake on the front wheel which is better then many motorcycles and even some cars! The other COOL thing in the picture is the MANGO-ORANGE suspension fork. It is one of the best forks you can get and it moves up and down 4 inches or 100mm or 10 cm. WOW! In other words riding off a 50 cm drop is like riding off a curb. (You remember how I was jumping in the snow at school?)
This is me riding my bike on the left and ME, my mom, my 4 year-old sister and of course MY BIKE, at the cherry blossom festival in Washington DC.

If you look carefully at the picture on the left you'll see 3 people turned their heads to look at my COOL bike!

Finally for now! When ever I go travel I always take my bike with me. This time I went to Florida for X-Mass break. I also took my bike with me! Below is the picture of me on my COOL bike in the southern most point of the United States of America, KEY WEST FLORIDA!
