The only impression
these Skiboards made on me was that you can carve in
them. You can get very low, with speed completely
horizontal on a flat ground, and get back up without
falling. Talk about falling, you will be tempted to
carve too far and wipe out. You can make your
snowboarder friends jealous. Other then that these
boards are OK but not great. These boards have very
interesting bindings which always make you feel off
balance. The middle section is set on a square
riser, but the front and the back can rock back and
forth with little rubber stoppers between the
binding plate and the Skiboard. Both the front and
the back have 1/4 inch travel which produces a
rocking motion that takes time to get used to. They
are not fast, not good for freestyle, but may be a
great first set of boards for the shorter and
lighter riders.
