Grom, just like the
name implies, sounds rather small and childish. That
because they are specifically designed for children
or very little people. I don't know what I was
thinking when I rode them. They feel small, cramped
and fragile. They are wider then other Salomons but
feel microscopic. On a lighter note, they were
probably the most exciting pair of Snowblades I ever
tried. It was not Skiboarding anymore, but rather
figure skating on snow. You can do the most amazing
tricks on them, 720s and 900s are a breeze but
landing them is nearly impossible. You can spin
yourself like a top but expect to hit the ground
very hard. I would not recommend them for a full
grown adult, but there is no better choice out there
for a child. They are shorter and wide therefore
provide more then adequate stability for anyone
under 4 feet. They are small and can be used a ski
teaching tool for kids, but you should not expect
your kids to ever ski again, they are that much fun.
